Hi there!
I’m a happy fool!
Sometimes way too happy. Ha ha ha …
You know, it occurred to me that maybe I haven’t been heeding my own words in my own post right here.
Yeah, and here’s where I blogged about all the exciting people I met at that Bouchercon in Indianapolis! There’s even a reference to the loud bar where I stepped on Lee Child’s foot. Maybe.
And, of course, I can’t thank Joe Konrath enough for starting me down the e-publishing road! Honest!
We even cross-promoted each other’s work way back in the day. I still offer a sample of his book in the back of IDENTITY CRISIS.
I even got the idea for doing ebook launches from Joe Konrath.
And, of course, everyone at the amazing Bouchercon last year! Where I nearly freaked out managed to smile for the camera and talk about marketing books online. Ha ha ha …
Including the awesome Tim Hallinan!
There’s so much I have to thank Tim for, it isn’t funny. Or maybe it is.
I’ll only say that Tim is so awesome that he invited me to contribute to this book! MAKING STORY: TWENTY-ONE WRITERS ON HOW THEY PLOT.
And here are Tim’s thoughts about that.
Furthermore, what would I have done without all the great people who have provided blurbs, reviews, encouragement, and so much more. People I know personally, as well as those I’ve never met, but who have emailed or tweeted me. For none of us is perfect, right?
Anyhow, anyone care for pizza? One with everything?
And thank you, avid reader Paul Downie, for providing the perfect quotation on your blog.
“When it was over, it was not really over, and that was the trouble.” – Frank Yerby September 5, 1916 – November 29, 1991
Yeah, Frank. Yeah …
Here’s a nice tune that I haven’t heard in ages.
PS: Thanks again Vin Zandri, for this post.
PPS: Thanks, Helen Keller for nearly kicking my ass. lol
