Well, before I get too drunk to blog the festivities get seriously underway, I just wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very happy holiday season.

You realize, of course, that today is the holy day of Festivus. It is, indeed, a great day, because it’s a holiday for the rest of us.

I can’t wait to start airing grievances celebrating. Can you? :)

Naturally, I also want to wish you a happy Hanukkah (sp?) (or Chanukah). Whatever.

And, of course, we’re all dreaming of a white Kwanzaa. Right?

And, in the spirit of the season, here are some Internet gifts, I hope you enjoy.

First of all, possibly the most tasteless toy ever made. Really! From the folks at World O’ Crap. How appropriate. Ha ha ha …

Second, a really awesome short story called “Nothing But Jerks” by Dave Zeltserman. Dave’s one of those hardboiled crime writer types and he’s from Boston. My Dad was from Boston and he loved hardboiled crime fiction. And the Red Sox. So that makes Dave awesome by association. :) Sorta.

And I’d be remiss if I didn’t wish you a Merry Christmas, in a most hardboiled fashion. And since I love Denis Leary

Finally, and because you know I’m just a big old softy … :)

Go forth and be festive! :)
