Yes, you read that right. Unlike the headline of this post, which is (in fact) a lie, this headline is true. Apparently.
At least it is according to Amazon’s book categorizing system.
Here’s what’s going on. Suzanne Adair just released her latest novel titled REGULATED FOR MURDER or (REGULATED FOR MURDER on Amazon UK), which I reviewed on this blog.
Well … take a gander (does anyone even say that anymore?) at her latest blog post about the book.
Um … okay. A historical mystery/thriller filed under “Automotive”? And who knew they had strut bushings during the American Revolution? ROFL
I know. Maybe Amazon saw this video and got confused …
Yeah, maybe. Except the wrong side has the cars! In the book, the protagonist is with the redcoats. So you end up rooting for the, um, redcoated guy, okay?
But wait! It’s complicated. And there’s an explanation in this interview with the protagonist Michael Compton Stoddard.
Not all things in life boil down to simple black and white — wrong versus right — decisions. However, one thing is clear. This book is definitely in the wrong category, no matter what Amazon says.

ROTFL! Thanks for helping me make lemonade out of this lemon, Debbi.
Thanks also for reminding me of that hilarious video. How appropriate is that to your post? Wow! I first saw it months ago and posted it to my FB author page back then. Methinks this is an occasion to post it again.

LOL! I’ve seen Amazon place some books in very strange categories, to say the least. I wonder about them sometimes.

This one takes the cake. No question about it!
