The chance to take a day off from writing and have brunch with my awesome husband, his cousin, his partner and two good friends, then meet a really nice author Joanne Aaronson (who came all the way up to Baltimore from Virginia — what a trooper! :) ), an ordained minister and “intuitive life coach” who’s written a book called THE CIRCLE OF LIFE: A Journey Through Grief to Understanding, after which I visited the Author Collective and sold them five books at wholesale price (see above), followed by a talk with two booksellers (who couldn’t take my books on consignment :( — rules, you know ;) ) who suggested an indie bookstore I might like to approach about a signing called Ivy Bookshop (on Falls Road in Baltimore) (now that’s awesome! :) ), then hanging out with the aforementioned awesome husband, cousin, partner and friends, sipping espresso (I’m so there!) and listening to a live band and people watching: Priceless.

What’s not to like? :-D
